Professional Background

Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sanguine Strategic Advisors (SSA), a Chicago-based consultancy dedicated to helping small and medium-sized businesses overcome operational challenges and achieve sustainable growth. Under his leadership, SSA has grown into a multimillion-dollar advisory group, recognized for its problem-centric approach and inclusion in Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States in 2024.

Sanguine Strategic Advisors

Prior to founding SSA in 2019, Chern established himself as a pioneer in the legal services industry. He co-founded Total Attorneys, a company that revolutionized online lead generation for law firms, and also built two national consumer bankruptcy law firms, one of which was one of the first virtual consumer law firms in the U.S. that provided remote legal assistance to tens of thousands of clients. His ventures have consistently focused on expanding access to legal services and have been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list multiple times.

In addition to his role at SSA, Chern is the Managing Member of Biz Head Law LLC, a firm concentrating in business counsel and tax mitigation services for small businesses. His expertise in devising complex tax strategies has made him a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth individuals seeking to minimize tax liabilities and maximize enterprise value.
